James R. (Bob) Morris

Bob was born and raised in Fairborn, Ohio and graduated from Bath Township Exempted High School in 1950. He is the third generation of the Morris Sons Funeral Homes, one of the three children to James E. and Ruth (Ankeney) Morris. Bob is the Secretary Treasurer of Morris Sons Funeral Home, attended the University of Dayton and Miami University at Oxford, a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1955, member of the Majestic Lodge #405 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Antioch Temple Shrine, Centerville Rod & Reel Club. He is a past member of Fairborn Rotary Club, American Business Men’s Club, Civaton Club, Dayton R.C. Model Boat Club, WORCS – West Ohio Radio Control Society. Bob is past President of the East Dayton Kiwanis Club and past Secretary Treasurer of the Greater Montgomery County Funeral Directors Association.

Dale was raised in Dayton, Ohio and is the fourth generation of the Morris Sons Funeral Homes, third son to Bob and Nancy (Scott) Morris. He is a graduate of Stebbins High School Class of 1979, has a Bachelor’s Degree of Science at Wright State University, graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1984, is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, and a Licensed Insurance Agent. Dale is President of Morris Sons Funeral Home, member of the Fairborn Rotary Club, past board member of the Greater Montgomery County Funeral Directors Association and the Downtown Fairborn Business Association. Dale enjoys boating, golfing, hunting and fishing.

Lora J. Morris

Wife of Dale Morris, Lora is one of eight children and grew up in Dayton, Ohio attending St. Helen Catholic Elementary School and graduated from Wilbur Wright High School Class of 1980. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Wright State University and is a Licensed Funeral Director and Insurance Agent. Lora has served on the board of Greater Montgomery County Funeral Directors Association for many years and is currently serving as President.

Evangeline Jones
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer 

Evangeline was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, raised in Centerville, Ohio and now lives in Kettering. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Wright State University in 1994 and A.A.S. from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1999. She is both a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Evangeline is a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and volunteers in various capacities with Kettering Children’s Choir, Beavertown School in Kettering, and St. Helen sports activities. She enjoys painting, reading, swimming and spending time with her daughter, Cheyenne.

Karen L. Hofmann

Karen recently joined our staff as Administrative Assistant. She was born in Richmond , Indiana and grew up in Preble County . Karen and her husband, Noel, are retired from Rohm and Haas and reside in Centerville . Karen enjoys music, reading, travel and spending time with her six grandchildren.
